Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus Have Been Released

on the April 13, 2017, Canonical had released the final version of Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus as a non-LTS version there will be supported for the next six months. Ubuntu 17.04 is the version that developed for more than six months after the released of Ubuntu 16.10 Yakkete Yak, last October.

Like what we said, The Ubuntu 17.04 is non-LTS version, so the user of LTS version don't need to update their Operation System to Ubuntu 17.04, except there are some reason that "forced" you to update your operation System.

What News On Ubuntu 17.04 Zesty Zapus?

Ubuntu 17.04 released with many major update. One of the important update is the presence Kernel 4.10. This kernel bring many support for the Hardwere, especially AMD Ryzen or Intel Kaby Lake. For the Gamer the presence linux kernel 4.10 is a good news, moreover Ubuntu 17.04 is also bring Mesa 17.0.2 and Xorg Server 1.19.2.

This version also introduce swapfile as a replacement of Swap Partition. Swapfile Technology is use cause the increased of the RAM space that use on the newest system. With the Swapfile, at least the user don't need to practice "2x RAM space" teory for make a swap partition because this teory is does not realy relevant again.

Ubuntu 17.04 is also bring systemd-resolved as a resolver DNS default, bring printer Apple AirPrint, and IPP Everywhere, and replace gconf with gsettings.

This newest version of Ubuntu is also bring new Software, Such as, LibreOffice 5.3, Firefox 52.0.1 ESR, and Thunderbird 45.8.0. moreover, Zesty Zapus also bring Terminal 3.20, Ubuntu Software 3.22 with Snap URL support, Nautilus 3.20, and Rhythmbox 3.4.1.

for the user of the old architectur, PowerPC-32 bit, is recomended to upgrade their PC beacuse UBUNTU 17.04 DOESNT NOT SUPPORT 32-bit ARCHITECTURE.
